As noted, many of our websites were experiencing slow showroom page load speeds, ultimately affecting the visitor experience. We have made several enhancements to showroom pages, including automatic category filtering to only display the most recent models available, which greatly impacts the performance of these pages across all dealer websites.
When managing your inventory in the inventory management module, you may have noticed that if you applied search terms or filters to the inventory search bar, then performed an action such as editing a piece of inventory, your filters/search terms were reset. Now, after saving your edits, these filters remain in place, returning you back to your original search.
Additional information has been added to the lead notification emails that are sent to dealers, including customer address and detailed inventory information such as condition, price, stock number, serial number, odometer reading and location.
Leads that are submitted that include a customer email address can immediately be responded to from the lead notification email. Previously, you were only able to respond to the lead via the lead management module inside the platform.
Dealer admins now have the ability to manage their dealership’s user account passwords. In the past, admins would have to reach out to the support team at CWS to manage these passwords.
Website visitors can now access OEM brochures, where applicable, on the inventory detail page of specific models. This feature only applies to those models in which the manufacturer has provided a brochure.
Dealers with multi-location processing now have the ability to filter inventory by location within the dealer inventory management module. This allows you to see your inventory per location versus seeing it all in one place.
HTTPS has been implemented across all dealer websites which means that the information contained on or gathered from your website is more secure. Being secure protects the integrity of your dealership’s website, as well as the privacy and security of your end-users.
