Many of our dealers with large amounts of inventory have experienced slow load times for their inventory both in the platform and on their websites. We have completely revamped the way inventory loads resulting in a much improved experience when managing and loading inventory. What once took up to several minutes in some cases, now loads almost instantaneously.
After many requests, we have now added the ability for your website visitors to now search for units by stock number on your website. For those customers that know exactly what they are looking for, this greatly reduces the time it takes for them to connect with you about a particular piece of inventory. This also benefits your sales team as they can now easily search by stock number when wanting to show a specific unit to a customer. There are now several new options for setting the display price of your inventory listings. Not only can an additional price be added, but the price labels can be modified to your liking as well, such a “Original Price” or “Our Price”. This allows you to customize your inventory pricing so that you can market your products however you like.
We’ve added a new feedback widget to our website platform. Displayed in the bottom-left of the screen, on all pages, this widget gives our customers the opportunity to tell us what they think of the platform. This feedback is sent directly to the product development team and will give us a good idea of where the platform performs the strongest, and where additional work is needed.
You may have noticed a new icon next to your user name when you log into the platform. This new credit card icon leads to our billing website, allowing you easier access to our payment portal for viewing and paying your CWS invoice.
You now have the ability to add call-to-action images to your inventory by choosing from an existing library, or uploading your own custom image. These images can be linked to a page on your website, or to an external website, and include the option to open this page in a new tab. Once configured for an inventory listing, the image will be displayed on the inventory listings page, as well as the inventory detail pages.
Your inventory detail pages now feature enhanced URL formats that include inventory model and location information. This means that instead of seeing random number and letter combinations in the URL, your inventory now displays more specific information associated with that piece of inventory. When search engines crawl your website, they can now better associate that page with the appropriate keywords for searchers, making it easier for buyers to find exactly what you are offering.
Now, your meta title and descriptions dynamically pull into your website based on the information that is available on your inventory detail pages. Meta title and descriptions are displayed in search engine results, making it easier for the searcher to understand exactly what he/she is clicking through to.
