Employee Spotlight: Shane Carlisle

It’s time to introduce you to our Employee of the Month!

Meet Shane! Shane Carlisle is our newest CAM- Client Advocate Manager- here at CWS and plays a major role as the primary point of contact for our dealers, constantly communicating with them and reviewing their success with our services. Since he’s begun his journey with us, we’ve heard a tremendous amount of praise from our dealers about his abilities. Recently, one dealer wrote to say, “Shane is so wonderful to work with! I really appreciate him more than he knows.” Now, let’s hear from Shane!

Sarah: First, Shane, tell us a little about yourself.

Shane: I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, but I currently live in Chesapeake with my beautiful wife Amy and our incredible daughter Harper. I graduated from ODU in 2011 and then went to work for GEICO for 5 years until I joined the CWS team. I enjoy reading and watching movies, and for a while, I was actually studying to get my degree in Film Theory before I decided to major in English.

Sarah: How long have you been with CWS and what is your current role?

Shane: I have been with CWS for 4 months now as a Client Advocate Manager.

Sarah: What is one piece of advice you want your dealers to know?

Shane: I want my dealers to know that as I serve as their point of contact, I want them to feel comfortable reaching out to me for any questions or concerns. My goal is for dealers to see me as their partner and to view me as a resource.

Sarah: What has been your greatest accomplishment at CWS so far?

Shane: In the short time I have been here, I feel my greatest accomplishment is the relationships I have built with a few of my clients. I have had the pleasure of speaking to a lot of my clients, but actually building that relationship where they know to reach out to me to get things done, that is something I strive for with every one of my clients.

Sarah: What is your favorite thing about working at CWS?

Shane: My favorite thing about working for CWS is the culture. CWS has done an excellent job building a family environment where everyone cares about each other. I have only been here 4 months, but it feels like I’ve been here for years. Every day I wake up excited to go to work because I know I work with an awesome team full of great people.
