Taking Your Mobile Presence To The Next Level

Now that you know the importance of going mobile for your dealership’s website, how can you take it to the next level? Because afterall, 54% of contractors have internet enabled smartphones, and they are using these mobile devices to interact with and gain knowledge from dealerships like yours.

Much like your full website, mobile websites need to be updated regularly. You don’t want to be left behind when it comes to the content and resources available to users, so refreshing your mobile website frequently will keep your dealership fresh in the minds of the users. If there is a sale happening at your dealership, be sure that messaging is on your mobile website. If you have events happening, such as open houses, make sure mobile users are aware of it, too. You need to think about it as not just a mobile website, but rather a mobile presence where users can receive the same engagement they would receive on your website’s desktop version.

Here are a few things that you can do to enhance your mobile presence:

  • Create customized mobile pages to promote your products, an OEM brand you carry, or why consumers should chose your dealership to service their equipment or truck.
  • Include upcoming events and current promotions, and keep these updated as they expire or new events/promotions are added.
  • Imitate the feel of your main website onto your mobile website. Include similar content, design and colors to help reinforce your brand.
