Employee Spotlight: Jen Hansen
This quarter we wanted to celebrate three members of the CWS family who have recently been awarded some outstanding accomplishments. Today we will be introducing you to our first employee of the quarter, Jen Hansen!
Jen is our Client Services Manager! She oversees several divisions of communication between CWS and our dealers, including their billing, any issues they are having with their website, taking their websites live, and graphic design of the website. Jen was recently awarded Dominion Web Solutions’ coveted Circle of Excellence Award as well as Customer Service Manager of the Year for 2016. We are so proud of these huge accomplishments and for how she leads her team.
Sarah: First, tell us a little about yourself, Jen!
Jen: I grew up in New Jersey right outside Philadelphia, then relocated to Coastal North Carolina, so I like to think I have the street smart and spunk of a city girl with the charm of a country girl. I love the mountains and hope to own a grand log cabin and a lot of land one day. I like to paint, and I can read a 400 page book in an afternoon. I like pop music and dance in my car all the time, I sing along too, but you do not want to hear that. My family, including my work family, are the most important part of my life. I am a big kid at heart, and I LOVE to laugh!
Sarah: How long have you been with CWS and what is your current role?
Jen: I will have been at CWS for 2 years in March, and I am the Client Services Manager. I manage 5 different divisions of Client Services: Graphics, Customer Service, Account Management, DNS, and Data/Billing.
Sarah: What is one piece of advice you want your dealers to know?
Jen: I would advise dealers to stay in touch. Technology and the services we offer are ever-changing, and we are here to be their advisors for all things digital. For the health of their website and the many layers of additional services we provide, we can only help or improve with open and regular communication. Your digital presence IS a brick and mortar business for many users these days.
Sarah: What has been your greatest accomplishment at CWS so far?
Jen: I feel so overwhelmed by the many things our entire company has accomplished to improve our dealer experience and the services we provide. The thing that I am personally most proud of is creating a team of loyal, dedicated and hardworking employees that take our dealers needs seriously, care about the business and are dedicated to their CWS family like I am.
Sarah: What is your favorite thing about working at CWS?
Jen: I love the evolution that happens here. We are always changing, redefining, enhancing and growing our business. The multitude of things I have learned about technology and just how amazing humans are in creating technology is astounding.
