Celebrating 10 Years!

This year, Commercial Web Services is celebrating 10 years as a business. Last week, you learned about our Search Services Supervisor Diana. Today, you will meet John Ryneska, our National Sales Manager. John has also been with Commercial Web Services for 10 years. To learn more about his experiences and what he has learned over the past 10 years, read below.

What brought you to Commercial Web Services and how has your position evolved? I was an assistant manager at a local recruiting firm and Commercial Web Services (CWS) was one of my recruiter’s clients. CWS was looking for an inside sales person and Ricardo PorJohn Ryneskater was our primary contact. At the time, we were recruiting for CWS and I was in the process of looking for another job. My recruiter introduced me to Ricardo and after the first interview Ricardo opted to bring me on board.

After three years of being the top sales producer, I became Team Lead. As Team Lead, I helped train new reps, acted as a resource for the entire sales team as well as assisted in recruiting for new reps.

year and a half after becoming Team Lead I became Sales Supervisor. As Sales Supervisor, I did much of the same as Team Lead but was more involved in recruiting for new reps and was also responsible for developing all newly hired reps.

A year and half after becoming Sales Supervisor, I was promoted to National Sales Manager. I have been in this role since the first part of August 2012. As National Sales Manager my role primarily consists of building a cohesive and productive sales team & business development.

When you look back over the last 10 years at CWS, how have we grown?

I believe I have grown as a leader. When I first started with CWS my focus was on “ME” and now I believe my focus is on “US”.

What has been your biggest accomplishment at CWS thus far?

I believe my single biggest accomplishment thus far has been creating the CAM role. The CAM role has been instrumental in getting our clients to re-engage and reinvest with CWS over this past year.

What are you looking forward to in the future at CWS?

I look forward to seeing CWS flourish in a wide open market. We have the right people, we are developing the right processes and we will be adding the right product in the very near future. With these three components, CWS will truly become the leader it deserves to be as it pertains to providing digital marketing solutions to dealers and OEMs in the commercial industry.

What about CWS has made it “home” the last 10 years?

The people and the culture have made CWS home to me. The “CWS Culture” didn’t manifest overnight nor have we had this culture for the past 10 years. Our culture has transformed over the recent years into something very special. In fact, I would say that the overall “health” of our culture is at an all-time high.
I feel as though we have developed this culture through an excellent leadership group which has found and developed members of the CWS team that have the right attitude and the right effort. Without these people, there is no CWS Culture, and without the CWS Culture, there is no home.
