Employee Spotlight: Mallory Corrigan

We’re using this month’s Employee Spotlight to introduce you to Mallory Corrigan! If you haven’t already worked with Mallory, she is our Social Media Specialist and is the one who is responsible for all our clients’ social media needs! Let’s hear about her experiences.

Tell us a little about yourself.

Three words: snapping, napping and chatting. In that order. I have a serious Diet Coke addiction and spend way too much time looking up corny jokes to tell in our next meeting. My older and only sister just got engaged and I plan to whip out a few of these corny jokes during my Maid of Honor speech. Will report back with how that goes.

In all seriousness (kind of), I graduated in May of 2017 from the University of South Carolina aka Land of the Fighting Chickens (copyright, Mallory Corrigan). I graduated with a degree in Public Relations and spent one semester studying abroad in Paris, France where I ate my weight in croissants, baguettes and macaroons. This fostered my love of traveling. My ultimate goal is to go to all 7 continents.

I am a member of a military family who settled just 20 minutes down the road from CWS in Chesapeake, VA. I love living by the coast and am an avid beach potato.

I love all things social and am so happy and blessed to be living the dream as the Social Media Specialist at CWS!

How long have you been at CWS and what is your current role?

I have been with CWS since June 2017 and I am the Social Media Specialist, serving not only the CWS social accounts, but also those dealers’ accounts that have our GoSocial Services.

What is one piece of advice you want your dealers to know?

My advice for our dealers is to take the time to go through their social platforms, and if they don’t have a Facebook page for their business, consider making one! Just a few years ago, many thought the internet would simply go away and look where we are now. Be an early adopter of new technology and see how social media can help grow your business not only in new revenue but by creating a positive impression of your business online. People like doing business with companies they like, and social media is an easy and cost-effective way to create that rapport.

What has been your greatest accomplishment at CWS so far?

My greatest accomplishment at CWS so far has been connecting with the dealers I work with through the GoSocial program. I have developed relationships with many dealers and have been able to help them grow their communities through social media to positively impact their businesses. I believe that social media can be used as a catalyst for connecting businesses to their clientele and creating a face behind the brand and my dealers have truly shown faith in my ability to help them do so.

What is your favorite thing about working at CWS?

My favorite thing about working at CWS is the culture. Being my first job after college, I was nervous about working in a corporate setting and having to hide my personality. As soon as I spent some time at CWS, I realized that wasn’t the case at all. I am able to let my personality shine and have made some incredible connections along the way.

Mallory has been such an amazing addition to our team! Her positive personality resonates across everything she does and we can say with absolute certainty that everyone she comes into contact with, whether coworker or client, leaves the conversation on a better note. Thank you, Mallory, for all your hard work and dedication. We can’t wait to see what else you’ll achieve at CWS!
